Nestled in the Conway neighborhood of Orlando, Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish has been a home of faith, service, and spiritual growth since 1962.
What began as a small community of faithful families gathering at Conway Elementary School has blossomed into a vibrant parish, alive with over 50 ministries and four Sunday Masses that bring the Gospel to life.
The name "Blessed Trinity" was officially given to our parish in 1965, and under the leadership of our founding pastor, Fr. John Caulfield, the seeds of our spiritual family were planted. On Trinity Sunday of 1967, Fr. Caulfield turned the first shovel of earth for the original church building, and by Christmas Eve that same year, the first Eucharist was celebrated in our new spiritual home. The building was formally dedicated on May 12, 1968, and has since seen decades of growth and grace.
Throughout our history, Blessed Trinity has been shepherded by devoted pastors, each bringing their unique gifts. Among them was the late Fr. Roland Nadeau, M.S., a Missionary of Our Lady of La Salette, whose gentle leadership and devotion to reconciliation marked a cherished chapter in our journey.
Following his passing, our parish welcomed our current pastor, Fr. Phil “Skip” Negley, M.S., who brings a joyful spirit and a deep commitment to spiritual renewal. Fr. Skip, ordained in 1973 and deeply rooted in the La Salette tradition, carries a rich background in formation, spiritual direction, and pastoral leadership. With warmth and openness, he is guiding our parish into its next phase of mission and renewal—encouraging us all to listen to the Holy Spirit, grow in faith, and live our call to discipleship.
At the heart of our parish identity is the beautiful message of Our Lady of La Salette. In 1846, in the peaceful mountains of La Salette, France, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to two children, Maximin and Mélanie. Her message was simple yet profound: return to God through prayer, conversion, and reconciliation. That call continues to echo through the life of our parish today. We invite you to come and experience the love, healing, and joy that flows from the heart of Christ and the message of His Blessed Mother. Whether you're visiting, returning to the faith, or searching for a spiritual home, you are always welcome at Blessed Trinity.
