Blessed Trinity Catholic Church – March 8, 2026
Second Sunday of Lent
Fr. Skip reflects on the Transfiguration of Christ, reminding us that Lent is not only a time of sacrifice but also a time when God reveals glimpses of His glory. Just as Peter, James, and John witnessed Jesus transformed on Mount Tabor, we too are invited to see Christ more clearly during Lent. Through prayer, fasting, and acts of charity, we prepare our hearts to follow Christ faithfully even through moments of suffering and uncertainty. Lent becomes a journey of deeper trust, reminding us that the light of Christ ultimately leads us to the joy of Easter.
